Motherhood Sessions

Not too long ago, we had the opportunity to work with Live View Studios + RAE Makeup for beautiful motherhood sessions. It was a chance for mothers to get all dolled up and have breathtaking photographs taken of them and their children to celebrate being a mother and the innocence + sweetness of childhood.

We love looking through these photos as they are such a perfect description of life and motherhood - beautiful, messy, unpredictable, and oh so lovely. We hope these photos inspire you to spend time with those who matter most. Give them big hugs, laugh till you cry, and enjoy the time you have!

And as we head in to another busy wedding weekend, we are always reminded how mush we love this beautiful home. Not only is it the perfect backdrop for your wedding day or a motherhood session, but also for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, and so much more.

If you are looking for the perfect place to host your next event, then feel free to fill out an inquiry HERE or come and see us Wednesdays from 4PM - 7PM at our Open House!

Wedding Wednesday - Tips + Tricks

We love the summer time. It’s a time full of weddings, time spent with family + friends, and so much more! It’s also a time to plan, a time to plan future weddings, future dreams, and future ideas. This is why we want to make it a point to give you some of our personal tips and tricks when it comes to planning your special day.

When choosing a wedding photographer, we feel it is very important to know what your theme for your wedding is - boho, floral, intimate, formal, casual, etc. Why? Well you want your photographs to capture and represent that same theme throughout.

Every photographer has their own style, their own way of storytelling. And that’s exactly what they are doing, telling the story of your day. So you want to be sure their style matches yours. The photographer is there to capture those raw + emotional parts of your day, so you want it to be an accurate representation of it. Here are some questions we feel are important to as when searching for the perfect fit.

  1. Is our date available?
  2. What is your personal style when shooting a wedding and editing? (Documentary, Portrait, Fine Art, Edgy + Bold, etc.)
  3. Can I see a portfolio of your work? (if you haven’t already - most likely there will already be example on their website)
  4. How many weddings have you shot, and have you shot ones similar to mine?
  5. Have you worked at my venue location?
  6. What exactly is included in your packages?
  7. What is the deposit and total fee?
  8. Will you be my actual photographer or will it be one of your associates?
  9. Is there a fee for a second shooter?
